About the role

We are searching for a highly motivated Program Manager to support Translational Development Leaders within the Solid Tumor pillar of Translational Development to enable the effective and efficient execution of translational development plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management support for Solid Tumor Translational Development teams across asset, disease, and collaboration-focused workstreams, including gastrointestinal/genitourinary, lung, breast, pancreatic, colorectal, and laboratory-enabled translational activities
  • Partner with Translational Development leaders, disease-area leads, biomarker leads, clinical teams, laboratory teams, data and analytics teams, operations, vendors, and other cross-functional partners to translate scientific priorities into clear project plans, timelines, deliverables, owners, and decision points
  • Drive execution of translational strategies for priority Solid Tumor assets and studies, including biomarker strategy planning, sample analysis planning, assay/vendor coordination, data delivery, result review, and documentation of decisions and follow-up actions
  • Maintain portfolio-level visibility across assigned assets, indications, biomarker deliverables, budgets, contracts, data transfers, governance milestones, publications, and congress submissions using appropriate project management and collaboration tools
  • Coordinate biomarker budget planning and vendor-facing activities, including sample-volume estimates, assay cost assumptions, statements of work, purchase orders, contract amendments, rate-card alignment, and budget scenario updates
  • Enable internal and external collaboration execution by coordinating sub-team meetings, sample and data logistics, analysis-plan inputs, shared documentation, contact lists, and cross-functional follow-up
  • Coordinate biospecimen, informed-consent, and data-use workflows for internal and external studies, including specimen-use requests, sample manifests, shipment and logistics planning, data-transfer requirements, and documentation readiness
  • Support biomarker data generation and reporting by coordinating dataset readiness, quality-control and review milestones, biomarker study report inputs, clinical study report support, decision-making preparation, and internal communication of key translational findings
  • Facilitate publication and congress planning by tracking abstracts, authorship, timelines, data-readiness needs, review/approval steps, and alignment with asset, disease-area, and collaboration priorities
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase consistency, transparency, and efficiency across the Solid Tumor PM team, including templates, trackers, meeting operating models, budget tools, and portfolio reporting approaches

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.S. or M.S. in a scientific discipline; project management certification or equivalent project management experience is desirable
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry experience in operational, scientific, translational development, biomarker, or clinical development roles within a highly matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects by translating scientific and operational priorities into clear plans, timelines, deliverables, owners, risks, decisions, and follow-up actions
  • Experience supporting translational, biomarker, or oncology programs, including coordination of cross-functional partners, vendors, external collaborators, budgets, contracts, data transfers, and deliverable tracking
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align, and connect scientific, operational, clinical, and external partners at multiple levels
  • Ability to lead through influence in a virtual or matrixed team environment, building structure from ambiguity and driving progress without direct authority
  • Skilled in managing complex internal and external relationships, including constructive conflict management, collaboration governance, and third-party coordination
  • Proficient with project management, visualization, and collaboration tools used to organize timelines, deliverables, meetings, documents, risks, decisions, and portfolio-level reporting
  • Strategic, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset, with experience using prioritization, scenario planning, governance awareness, and process improvement to support portfolio delivery
