Associate Director, Total Rewards & HR Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, Total Rewards & HR Operations to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee total rewards strategy and HR operations with a strong focus on compensation, benefits, and annual planning. The position will partner closely with leadership to improve HR processes, support executive compensation activities, and strengthen employee experience through effective systems and reporting. It will also help ensure programs and practices remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with business goals. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000 annually Responsibilities Manage the development and implementation of global compensation and benefits programs Monitor compensation practices and recommend necessary changes Administer annual compensation planning, including increases and bonus programs Guide executive compensation processes and prepare presentations Oversee HR metrics reporting and lead project implementation for new HR processes Drive HR policies and procedures compliance with employment laws Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology to streamline HR processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field preferred; education may substitute for experience Minimum 7 years of experience in Total Rewards with a focus on compensation and benefits At least 3 years of experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Medical Devices Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws Expertise in US benefits and compensation required Benefits Comprehensive total rewards programs including benefits and compensation Annual compensation planning Professional development opportunities with a focus on employee education Support in achieving a productive employee experience through technology Flexible approach to remote work, fostering a supportive workplace Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
