Associate Director – Technology & Application Engineering
About the role
You will partner with customers, R&D and business leaders to bring new applications to market across global aviation, energy and industrial sectors. You will lead engineering managers and teams across our Global Coating Services Americas division, ensuring alignment and consistency with site business leaders. You will evaluate new opportunities and align teams on optimal solutions. Additionally, you will develop standardized processes and manage new product introduction with clear ownership, timelines and customer focus. Drive implementation of new technologies in partnership with R&D while resolving process issues and improving productivity. Share best practices across sites and oversee projects, with up to 30–50% domestic and some international travel required.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers, R&D and business leaders to bring new applications to market across global aviation, energy and industrial sectors
- Lead engineering managers and teams across our Global Coating Services Americas division, ensuring alignment and consistency with site business leaders

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
- 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams or managing operations
- 3+ years of project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Experience with tooling, masking, equipment design and process documentation
- AABB robotic programming skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
