Associate Director, Strategic Account Manager (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, Strategic Account Manager (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead enterprise supplier relationships and shape multi-year sourcing strategies that support mission-critical operations across the business. The position will partner closely with internal stakeholders to improve supplier performance, manage risk, and drive cost-effective outcomes. It is well suited for a supply chain leader who can influence cross-functional teams and bring strong governance to complex supplier engagements. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $157,200 – $298,800 annually Responsibilities Own enterprise-wide supplier relationships with accountability for risk and governance Lead multi-year supplier strategy development and execution Manage strategic supplier relationships across business units Execute supplier and commodity strategies to enhance performance and cost-efficiency Monitor supplier performance for SLA compliance and improvements Facilitate cross-functional engagement for cohesive supplier strategy implementation Support contract negotiations for optimal terms in price, quality, and delivery Qualifications University degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, an advanced degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or 16+ years of relevant experience without a degree 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Programs Experience in the aerospace/defense industry Proven experience in transformational leadership and team management Benefits Healthcare and wellness programs Flexible work schedules Educational assistance Parental leave, including paternal leave Achievement awards and recognition programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
