Associate Director, Research Analytics
About the role
The University of Canberra is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head its research analytics function. The Associate Director, Research Analytics will provide insights and evidence that underpin executive decision-making, enhance research performance, and support the delivery of the University's strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead improvements in reporting and system automation to ensure it meets the needs of researchers, the Executive, and government reporting requirements.
- Deliver strategic analytics, benchmarking, and performance insights to inform decision-making and strengthen research excellence.
- Lead university’s efforts in strategic initiatives such as institutional research impact, world rankings, internal and external stakeholder engagement, and preparation of executive briefing papers.
- Lead government reporting and external research assessment activities, ensuring compliance and alignment with the University's strategic objectives.
Requirements
You are a collaborative and influential leader with extensive experience in research analytics, reporting, or research management within a higher education, research, or similarly complex environment. A research background, supported by postgraduate research qualifications and/or significant relevant professional experience, will be highly regarded.

Pay
Salary Range $145,115 pa - $150,142 pa + 17% Super
