For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, Project Management to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will guide cross-functional program execution across early development activities in a highly regulated environment. The Associate Director will partner closely with scientific, clinical, and regulatory stakeholders to keep development plans aligned, risks visible, and milestones on track. It is a hands-on leadership role focused on integration, scenario planning, and clear communication to support informed decision-making. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $117,000 – $189,200 annually Responsibilities Partner with the global team leader to manage a cross-functional development team Lead the creation and maintenance of integrated program Gantt charts Identify critical paths and manage at-risk activities for scenario planning Develop dashboards to communicate project status and track progress Organize cross-functional team meetings, including agendas and action item follow-ups Maintain logs of issues and risks for proactive team engagement Collaborate on budget development and manage program spending Qualifications BS with 8+ years or MS/MBA with 6+ years in pharma/biotech R&D, including 4+ years in project management Experience with IND-enabling activities and Phase 1 development Expertise in drug development, clinical, and regulatory processes Strong communication and collaboration skills to guide teams without direct authority Excellent analytical skills with competence in decision analysis tools Proficient in project management principles and software, preferably PMP certified Benefits Eligibility for a company-sponsored 401(k) and pension Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits Flexible benefits for healthcare and dependent care spending accounts Life insurance and associated death benefits Generous vacation and leave of absence policies Well-being programs including fitness benefits and employee activities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
