About the role

The Associate Director, Professional Marketing will assist in developing and executing professional marketing initiatives to support personal promotion for saroglitazar. This role is key to flawlessly executing our marketing strategy in the field and reports to the Senior Director, Professional Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Development of Promotional Resources for HCPs:
    • Advance the development of key derivative promotional materials for the field sales team to support the launch of saroglitazar.
    • Lead the print production process for all promotional pieces.
    • Support all promotional regulatory approvals and ensure successful execution of key promotional pieces through the approval process.
  • Development of Speaker Bureau and Peer-to-Peer Education Initiatives:
    • Partner with the Thought Leader Liaison team to train and manage the national speaker bureau.
    • Collaborate with field leadership and logistics agencies to execute peer-to-peer programs in compliance with legal and regulatory guidance.
  • Sales/Marketing Coordination:
    • Partner with the Sales VP to develop all marketing communications for field teams, securing necessary approvals.
    • Execute monthly Sales/Marketing Council meetings, including agenda development and follow-up.
    • Serve as the marketing point of contact for all sales meetings and congresses, coordinating content and promotional booths.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Field Sales, Thought Leader Liaisons, Market Access, Business Insights & Operations, Medical, and Patient Services across the patient ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of commercial pharmaceutical experience.
  • Rare disease, specialty hepatology/gastroenterology launch experience is highly preferred.
  • Field sales and training experience is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced, pre-launch environment; a self-starter who excels at taking initiative within an established strategic framework.
  • Collaborative and action-oriented, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
  • Robust analytical skills to conduct both qualitative and quantitative assessments.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for improving the quality of life for patients facing rare liver diseases.

Schedule

This is a hybrid position based in the Princeton-area office.

Travel Requirements

Domestic travel up to 25%.

Pay

$180,000 – $200,000
