About the role

The Associate Director, Partnerships is responsible for developing and closing partnership deals that drive significant measurable impact for partners and Cover Genius. This role involves building strong enterprise partner relationships, delivering commercial support on larger enterprise deals, and managing key relationships at partner organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and close partnership deals that drive significant measurable impact for partners and Cover Genius.
  • Build strong enterprise partner relationships to acquire new logos and drive meaningful impact to our new partners.
  • Deliver commercial support on larger enterprise deals that require cross-functional input.
  • Work cross-functionally with our teams as part of the broader team that designs robust partner solutions and stick with deals until launch.
  • High quality pipeline management including effective usage of Cover Genius’ CRM and reporting frameworks.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of travel industry experience, with 5+ years in sales or business development roles.
  • Problem-solving capacity - we are not a cookie cutter organization. We use our unique tech capabilities to build innovative solutions for our enterprise partners.
  • Proven track-record for meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance-driven KPIs.
  • Demonstrated passion and agility leading within high-growth technology companies/startups.
  • Strong network and successful track record with respect to deal negotiation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a postgraduate degree is also desirable.

Qualifications

  • Clear, concise communication skills, able to present, negotiate and influence at VP-level.
  • Ability to think laterally and explore creative solutions in both deal negotiation and customer solution design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of cross-functional teams (Incl. engineering, product and finance) to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • A proactive bias to action, and drive to achieve results.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems and reporting frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pay

The minimum cash compensation for this role is $125,000+ (plus commission & equity).
