Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to support drug pipeline needs and business objectives
- Provide authoritative guidance on complex procurement contracting issues
- Drive scientific contracting engagements and independently negotiate agreements
- Develop tailored contracting solutions to address evolving business needs
- Oversee all phases of contract drafting and negotiation with legal guidance
- Proactively advise project management teams on contracting needs and risks
- Build strategic relationships with third-party suppliers to align interests and mitigate risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in biology or related field and/or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of contract management and research experience, or 7+ years without an advanced degree in biotechnology or pharmaceutical settings
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis is required
- Advanced degree (MBA or MS, Ph.D. in biological sciences) preferred
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills required
