Associate Director, Ominchannel Experience Technology Product Lead

About the role

This is a product leadership role at the center of how Medical Affairs engages Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and stakeholders through digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Omnichannel Experience Platform Ecosystem
  • Maintain and evolve the SFMC email template design system
  • Define and evolve omnichannel orchestration journeys
  • Drive platform performance monitoring, deliverability optimization, and data hygiene
  • Lead the Email Development and Deployment Team
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Global Field & Digital Technology
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging digital engagement technologies
  • Own the technology layer of consent and preference management through OneTrust
  • Ensure compliance, consent, and governance

Requirements

  • Master’s degree + 8 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree + 10 years of experience in omnichannel experience technology, digital engagement, marketing operations, or platform management
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Experience leading an email development or omnichannel experience operations team
  • Experience with OneTrust or comparable consent and preference management platforms
  • Experience integrating digital engagement platforms with CRM systems and analytics tools

Qualifications

  • Deep SFMC expertise including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, data extensions, dynamic content, AMPscript, and deliverability management
  • Understanding of HCP digital engagement regulations and consent requirements in pharma
  • Knowledge of list management best practices including audience segmentation, suppression logic, data hygiene, and deliverability optimization
  • Pharma or life sciences experience is strongly preferred; candidates from healthcare or other regulated industries with deep SFMC and digital engagement backgrounds will be considered

Benefits

The salary range for this position is: $195,670.00 - $253,220.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
