About the role

The Associate Director contributes to AHF’s mission by delivering exceptional program oversight for the Wellness on Western location. This leadership role provides direct support and program development, including quality assurance, client satisfaction, and the delivery of HIV prevention and comprehensive sexual health services.

The incumbent provides direct oversight and development of both the on-site pre-exposure prophylactic services (PrEP) program and embedded disease intervention (EDIS) program. Additionally, the Associate Director is responsible for the programmatic and reporting requirements for DHSP contracts for three Los Angeles-based Wellness programs.

The Associate Director leads a multidisciplinary team, including a lab manager, practice manager, medical providers, and embedded DIS workers. The incumbent will routinely coordinate with other AHF business lines and community partners to maximize the delivery of testing and prevention services in the community.

The Associate Director utilizes their knowledge of the community to ensure testing and prevention services reach the greatest number of individuals while executing AHF’s core values. They contribute to the Public Health Division by fostering a team-oriented work environment and promoting a patient-centered approach. The position works both independently and as part of a team to successfully manage simultaneous projects that allow AHF to meet its mission.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight and development of the on-site PrEP program and embedded disease intervention (EDIS) program.
