ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF STUDENT MINISTRIES

About the Role

As part of our Family and Student Ministries teams, the Associate Director of Student Ministries is charged to pastor, teach, and lead middle and high school students, their parents, and the volunteers that serve in those ministries. This person will embrace New Community Church’s mission of becoming a disciple and making disciples of Jesus Christ and join a staff team that values communication, collaboration, and going the extra mile.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead, pastor, and disciple 6th – 12th grade female students, student leaders, and volunteers with the Student Ministry Team.
• Develop, prepare, and teach in various student ministries settings (e.g., Bible Study, Weekly Program, Sunday Class for Middle School).
• Contribute as a member of the Student Ministry Team to the strategic planning and implementation of all middle and high school programs and events, ensuring alignment with the mission of New Community Church.
• Schedule opportunities to build relationships with students and their parents in settings outside of weekly programs.
• Serve as a member of the Family Ministries Team.
• Attend all student camps and mission trips.

Requirements

• A female who is passionate about Jesus and students (6th – 12th Grade).
• Excited to contribute to and collaborate with the Family Ministries Team.
• A Bachelor’s Degree.
• Full-time Youth Ministry experience preferred.
