About the role
The Associate Director of Annual Giving (Administrator I) plays a key role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to grow annual philanthropic revenue. This position manages multi-channel solicitation campaigns, enhances donor engagement, and increases participation and philanthropic revenue from alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the university.
Responsibilities
- Manage multi-channel solicitation campaigns
- Enhance donor engagement
- Increase participation and philanthropic revenue from alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the university
- Collaborate across University Advancement to implement annual giving initiatives
- Support leadership annual giving and digital giving efforts
- Aid in budget tracking
- Implement data-driven strategies focused on donor acquisition, retention, and pipeline development
- Operate with a high degree of independence while partnering closely with the Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship on strategy execution and program development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Two to three years of experience in development fundraising, annual giving, advancement services, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience supporting fundraising campaigns, donor engagement strategies, or direct response programs
- Working knowledge of fundraising principles, donor lifecycle, and stewardship practices
- Experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop donor-facing content
- Proficient knowledge of digital technology, design tools, and giving platforms
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports to support program evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Suite with the ability to use the full range of software packages (Word, Excel, PPT and Teams)
- Experience working with sensitive and confidential data

Pay
$4,135 - $12,288 per month (Hiring range depending on qualifications, not anticipated to exceed $6,800 - $8,300 per month)
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional early morning, evening and/or weekend hours.
