About the role
The Talent Associate Director, Medical at Waltz Health is responsible for providing strategic input to guide the creation of clinically relevant educational content and ensuring the effective use of clinical data to meet strategic brand objectives. They also conduct literature searches, proactively monitor the competitive landscape, and establish strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic input to guide creation of clinically relevant educational content and ensure effective use of clinical data to reach strategic brand objectives
- Independently develop scientific content, analyze and interpret clinical data across various project types
- Conduct literature searches, proactively monitor competitive landscape, and perform competitive analyses
- Establish strong relationships with clients and proactively seek to contribute and collaborate in client meetings
- Partner with internal teams to create compelling symposia decks, scientific narratives, messaging platforms, and engagement projects for healthcare professionals, including digital and print media
- Create interactive, engaging programs utilizing scientific storytelling techniques and unique data visualization
- Collaborate to create and communicate Intouch’s perspective and recommendations with clients
- Support submissions for client medical/regulatory approval processes and partner with all teams to incorporate client and regulatory feedback
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in medical sciences related field required
- Preferably two or more years of agency experience in medical education, medical communications, and/or HCP marketing
- Strategic thinker capable of effectively telling a scientific story in a compelling way to differentiate client products
- Two years minimum medical writing experience required
- Oncology experience preferred
- Expertise in extracting relevant information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate copy
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Client-facing confidence that advances dialogue and creates strong agency-client relationships
- Experience with complex projects requiring collaboration between internal and external teams, including key opinion leaders
- Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations, AMA editorial style, and digital
