About the role
RevHealth is an independent pharmaceutical healthcare marketing and ad agency. The Associate Medical Director provides medical expertise to clients and internal teams, contributes to strategy, and develops medical content. This critical role ensures the medical insightfulness, integrity, and topicality of content for client projects while maintaining compliance. The role supports full integration of medical strategy across all accounts through cross-functional partnerships, creativity, and advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Own medical content development for multiple projects.
- Drive medical strategic guidance on assigned accounts and discuss strategic recommendations with clients.
- Ensure high-quality execution of scientific content, including organization, clarity, accuracy, format, consistency, and adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines, styles, and processes.
- Build working relationships with key client marketing and medical personnel.
- Mentor junior writers supporting assigned accounts as needed.
- Remain up to date with the medical literature and industry changes relevant to the client’s brands.
- Participate in maintaining the integrity and leading presence of the Medical Strategy and Content Team within RevHealth.
Requirements
- Advanced/terminal degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent).
- 3+ years of relevant experience developing scientific and medical content in HCP Promotional Advertising or a similar field in a client-facing medical lead role.
- Strong experience in the development of medical communications/pharmaceutical marketing medical content, including slide decks, advisory board executive summaries, and support materials for training programs, with minimal direction.
- Experience in strategic medical work associated with pharma marketing in a commercial setting.
- Strong scientific background with solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to effectively interact with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to multi-task and work both independently and within a team structure.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 USD per year.
