This position reports to the Senior Director, Marketing – Medical Dermatology and the work location is Princeton, NJ (3 days in the office per week).

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Ownership
    • Co-own and shape the long-range brand strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and evolving market dynamics
    • Lead development of annual brand plans, financial forecasts, and strategic imperatives, with accountability for performance across indications
    • Drive enterprise-level strategic decision-making by synthesizing market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer needs
    • Serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, influencing brand direction and investment prioritization
    • Launch Excellence & Market Expansion
      • Lead end-to-end launch strategy and execution for Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA), ensuring best-in-class readiness across all customer touchpoints
      • Define and drive market expansion strategies within rheumatology and adjacent inflammatory disease areas
      • Establish clear value propositions and positioning to differentiate in highly competitive biologics markets
      • Customer & Market Strategy
        • Engineer integrated customer engagement strategies across HCPs, patients, and key stakeholders
        • Translate emerging clinical data and insights into compelling, differentiated messaging platforms
        • Oversee KOL engagement strategy to shape perception, advocacy, and scientific leadership
        • Anticipate and respond to payer, access, and policy dynamics influencing market adoption
        • Lifecycle Management & Innovation
          • Lead lifecycle strategy and portfolio optimization, identifying new growth opportunities and mitigating competitive threats
          • Champion innovation in Omni channel marketing, leveraging digital, data, and personalization to enhance engagement
          • Identify and scale new commercial capabilities that improve effectiveness and ROI
          • Cross-Functional Leadership
            • Act as a central integrator across Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Analytics, Finance, and Regulatory, driving alignment and accountability
            • Lead cross-functional teams to translate strategy into execution, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and results
            • Influence without authority in a complex matrix to deliver against brand objectives
            • Executional Excellence & Governance
              • Provide oversight of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency, quality, and strategic alignment
              • Establish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics, optimizing investments based on data-driven insights
              • Lead agency strategy and performance management, ensuring strong partnerships and innovative output
              • Ensure all activities adhere to MLR and compliance standards

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
      • 7+ years of progressive pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience, with increasing strategic responsibility
      • Demonstrated experience in US biologics marketing within dermatology, immunology, or rheumatology required
      • Proven track record of leading key brand initiatives, including product launches and lifecycle strategy
      • Strong experience developing and executing integrated HCP and patient marketing strategies
      • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
      • Advanced experience in market analytics, forecasting, and financial management
      • Deep understanding of specialty market dynamics, including access, reimbursement, and payer landscape
      • Experience managing complex agency ecosystems and multimillion-dollar budgets
