What You Can Expect Help support the operations organization by providing manufacturing and engineering knowledge and a continuous improvement mindset to help solve various challenges within the business. This will include leading projects, supporting the day-to-day within a regulated environment, and managing cross-functional partnerships to help align on goals and meet company objectives. How You'll Create Impact Define facility needs with operations, quality, manufacturing engineers and maintenance personnelHire, train, and have oversight responsibility for direct reports and facility maintenance personnelOversee details for installation of new equipment, process and productsCoordinating outside contractors and vendors; Write purchase orders as requiredCoordinate IQ, OQ & PQ projects with Engineers, Operations and Materials Management PersonnelPlay key role in manufacturing and engineering annual budget submissionOversee manufacturing processes performance and trendsParticipate in CAPAParticipate in facility and product audits both internal and outside agenciesPerform plant and process tours as requiredFacilities’ future upgrades, modifications and capacity expansions What Makes You Stand Out Experience managing project budgets and monitoring progress per budget goalVendor management experience with hands-on external negotiationsRaw Material manufacturing, investment casting, polymer molding, or bio-materials fabrication experiences to GMP Knowledge or experience with ISO 13485 requirements a plus (med device) Experience leading both exempt and non-exempt employees Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or science is required7+ years of progressive engineering experience including 3 years or more with direct reports is required10+ years of progressive engineering experience including 3 years or more with direct reports is preferred Travel Expectations Approximately 10% domestic travel expected EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability Expected Compensation Range: $145k to $175k, plus target bonus
