About the role
The Associate Director of US Leadership Development reports to the Director of US Leadership Development with responsibility of directly supporting and partnering with business teams and commercial leadership.
This role is an internal consultant who coaches and guides leaders to foster positive work culture and teamwork while delivering executional goals that drive business results. The Associate Director is considered the resident expert on leadership development.
Responsibilities
- Performing needs assessment
- An anticipating and analyzing business needs
- Identifying potential talent gaps
- Ensuring alignment of learning solutions with business goals
- Engaging partners in design and managing the delivery of training solutions
- Making measurements of value of programming and behavior change
Requirements
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree required
- Managerial experience: 5+ years
- Travel: Up to 50%
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to deliver high-impact presentations, ability to give constructive feedback, strong interpersonal skills, ability to foster inclusive conversations, ability to navigate complex environments, experience in leading teams, ability to inspire and motivate others, ability to adapt course and plans based on newly introduced perspectives, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to champion ideas that challenge the status quo, working knowledge and familiarity with virtual and digital learning tools, deep leadership development subject matter expertise, ability to determine long-range training and development requirements, ability to stay up to date on current market trends in leadership capability development, relevant certifications and continuous self-development, ability to design and implement training programs that support successful execution of key initiatives, ability to obtain Executive Coaching certification, ability to coach leaders in their development and their team's development, ability to assume a leadership role in the coordination of all coordinated training activities within US (marketing excellence, leadership development, Integrated Brand Teams, Sales leadership, etc.)
