Associate Director IT
About the role
The Associate Director of IT will lead the Infrastructure, Security, and Service Desk team at SEKISUI Diagnostics. The role requires 10+ years of experience in computer information systems, with expertise in IT infrastructure, security, networks, cloud services, databases, telecommunications, and hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support infrastructure operations across networks, databases, cloud services, telecommunications, and hybrid environments, including upgrades, provisioning, monitoring, availability, and security.
- Manage, coach, and develop infrastructure, security, and Service Desk team members while setting clear expectations, prioritizing work, and measuring performance.
- Ensure IT architecture, hardware, core systems, and support services enable employee productivity, business continuity, and SEKISUI Diagnostics’ growth objectives.
- Partner with business units and the Head of IT to deliver practical infrastructure and security solutions aligned with Global IT Strategy and Standards.
- Oversee service delivery across the US, Canada, UK, and Germany, including cross-training plans, employee technology training, and responsive end-user support.
- Support IT budget planning, asset management, after-hours system availability, reporting, metrics, and standards that drive reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
This role is remote but ideally located in Massachusetts/the northeast US. The anticipated salary for this position is $175,000-$190,000, with potential for annual incentives and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in computer information systems.
- Deep expertise in IT infrastructure, security, networks, cloud services, databases, telecommunications, and hybrid environments.
- Experience leading and developing technical teams, creating clarity around priorities, and helping people do their best work.
- Strong project leadership skills, able to manage priorities, anticipate roadblocks, and deliver results on time.

SEKISUI Diagnostics offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a base salary of $175,000-$190,000, potential for annual incentives, and comprehensive benefits.

The anticipated salary for this position is $175,000-$190,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
Schedule
This is a remote position, with travel as needed to support business priorities and team collaboration (1-2 weeks per year).
