The Associate Director IT role is listed on behalf of a partner company managing all applications and next steps. This leadership role involves driving the evolution of enterprise technology infrastructure, security, and service operations within a global environment. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Oversight of infrastructure, security, and service desk operations
  2. Maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable IT environments
  3. Leading infrastructure operations across networks, databases, cloud services, telecommunications, and hybrid technology environments
  4. Mentoring and developing infrastructure, security, and Service Desk teams
  5. Partnering with business stakeholders and IT leadership to deliver infrastructure and security solutions aligned with global technology strategies and standards
  6. Supporting IT budgeting, asset management, reporting, metrics, compliance processes, and operational standards
  7. Driving quality validation processes to ensure systems and IT practices align with established quality frameworks and approved standards
  8. Providing leadership during critical technology initiatives and supporting after-hours system availability when required

Requirements for this role include:

  • 10+ years of experience in computer information systems, IT infrastructure, or related technology leadership roles
  • Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, cloud services, databases, telecommunications, and hybrid environments
  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing technical teams while managing priorities and delivering results
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to anticipate challenges, coordinate resources, and execute initiatives effectively
  • Ability to connect technology strategies with business objectives and deliver solutions that improve operational performance
  • Experience managing service delivery, technical support operations, and enterprise technology environments
  • Knowledge of quality validation processes, compliance requirements, and structured IT governance practices is highly valued
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with preference for candidates located in Massachusetts or the northeastern United States
