About the role
Directs all division functions to drive innovative Employee Relations (ER) strategies for proactive ER support and solutions to academic and non-academic employees at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.Responsibilities
- Directs and develops programs and strategies that support effective workforce practices, employee engagement, and alignment with applicable laws and policies.
- Directs and manages a comprehensive employee and organizational development program and activities that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of employees in support of UNMC's mission, strategic plan, and operating goals.
- Directs and manages the overall administration of the campus employee benefits and wellness program, including serving as the campus liaison for the Employee Assistance Program provider, Arbor Family Counseling.
- Directs and maintains overall responsibility for the administration of the campus Child Development Center.
- Led continuous process improvement efforts across assigned functional areas to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery.
