You will bridge evidence-based medical decision support with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance health and treatment outcomes. Whether developing frameworks to ensure our evidence is scientifically robust, providing unbiased and medically essential expertise, or investigating ways to close data gaps, your work will be pivotal in ensuring that accurate, timely, and consistent data reaches clinical teams and other groups. Your dedication will help Pfizer achieve new milestones and assist patients worldwide.

What You Will Achieve

  • Set and manage objectives for high-complexity projects within the Global Business Unit
  • Lead and allocate people, technology, and financial resources, including those outside direct authority
  • Actively share knowledge across multiple functions and contribute to knowledge management processes
  • Champion and develop resources for innovation, taking appropriate risks to implement new ideas
  • Develop solutions for highly complex problems within the Global Business Unit
  • Interpret the Division's strategy to establish and prioritize business goals
  • Absess talent needs and identify potential talent within the organization
  • Hold managers accountable for their management skills and the development of a diverse talent pipeline
  • Lead teams to implement strategic directions and influence senior management decisions
  • Partner with Global Business Unit leadership to achieve objectives and oversee operational activities to support the division's goals

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) with at least 6 years of experience or Master's Degree (MBA/MS) with at least 5 years of experience or Doctorate (PhD) with at least 1 year of experience or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with any years of experience
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, Contract Research Organization (CRO), or Regulatory Agency
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and develop successful partnerships within and across functional areas
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant data standards
  • Strong communication, decision-making, influencing, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Technical proficiency in using relational databases and data visualization tools
  • Strong people management experience

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium)
  • Experience with data management plans, including data preparation and validation activities
  • Understanding of the drug development process and data operations required for the reporting of clinical trial data
  • Ability to create data capture solutions that support the quality and timely delivery of data
  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity
  • Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

Non-standard Work Schedule, Travel Or Environment Requirements

Ability to work during global hours to collaborate with colleagues in different time zones.

Pay

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00.
