Associate Director, Global Product Marketing
About the role
Join Lonza's Capsugel Dosage Forms Solutions (DFS) business and help shape the future of nutraceutical innovation. As Associate Director, Product Marketing, you will lead global product marketing strategy and go-to-market execution for a portfolio of advanced capsule and dosage form technologies, helping customers solve formulation challenges and bring differentiated products to market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product marketing strategy for Lonza's Dosage Forms Solutions portfolio, defining value propositions, competitive positioning, messaging frameworks, and customer-centric marketing plans.
- Develop compelling technical and commercial content across multiple channels, including websites, product literature, white papers, case studies, technical datasheets, social media, and sales enablement materials.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Commercial Development, Sales, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and regional marketing teams to translate complex science into differentiated customer value propositions.
- Drive global go-to-market launches, demand generation initiatives, and e-commerce campaigns that increase product awareness, adoption, and commercial growth.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and campaign performance metrics to identify opportunities and optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Manage the DFS product marketing budget, external agency relationships, and resource allocation to maximize return on investment.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders globally while serving as the marketing lead for a growing portfolio of innovative dosage form technologies.
Requirements
Significant experience in product marketing within nutraceuticals, CDMO, life sciences, specialty ingredients, healthcare, or other science-driven B2B industries.
A strong understanding of solid oral dosage forms, capsule technologies, formulation science, or related delivery systems, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling commercial narratives.
Proven success developing and executing product marketing, content marketing, launch, and demand generation strategies that drive customer engagement and business growth.
Experience using market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and performance analytics to make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication, storytelling, project management, and stakeholder influence skills within a global matrix organization.
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Science, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
Demonstrated business acumen, collaboration, leadership, accountability, and customer-focused insightfulness, consistent with Lonza's core competencies.
Ability to work onsite in Morristown, NJ, a minimum of three days per week, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive collaboration, innovation, and business results.
Travel up to 30% required.

Pay
The full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $140,000 – $198,450.
