About the role

This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scale financial operations within a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve clients in the 'Office of the CFO' at private equity portfolio companies to enhance finance effectiveness
  • Lead the implementation of budget and forecasting capabilities specifically for the Software/SaaS industry
  • Prepare financial reports covering key metrics against prior results and forecasts
  • Develop analytical resources and models to support decision-making
  • Assist with cash management and develop cash flow forecasts
  • Transition solutions back to portfolio companies effectively
  • Maintain relationships with portfolio representatives and collaborate with the company teams for service delivery
  • Engage in business development to market services and generate opportunities
  • Mentor junior team members and provide feedback and performance reviews

Qualifications

  • 9+ years' experience in FP&A, preferably in a Private Equity backed company
  • Experience in the Software / SaaS industry
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, adept at complex financial modeling and executive dashboards
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of data analytics tools is a plus
  • Comfort with AI tools and emerging technologies; openness to continuous learning

Compensation

$130,000 – $180,000 annually
