About the role
This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scale financial operations within a Business Services environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve clients in the 'Office of the CFO' at private equity portfolio companies to enhance finance effectiveness
- Lead the implementation of budget and forecasting capabilities specifically for the Software/SaaS industry
- Prepare financial reports covering key metrics against prior results and forecasts
- Develop analytical resources and models to support decision-making
- Assist with cash management and develop cash flow forecasts
- Transition solutions back to portfolio companies effectively
- Maintain relationships with portfolio representatives and collaborate with the company teams for service delivery
- Engage in business development to market services and generate opportunities
- Mentor junior team members and provide feedback and performance reviews
Qualifications
- 9+ years' experience in FP&A, preferably in a Private Equity backed company
- Experience in the Software / SaaS industry
- Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships
- Knowledge of revenue recognition, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Strong analytical and modeling skills, adept at complex financial modeling and executive dashboards
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of data analytics tools is a plus
- Comfort with AI tools and emerging technologies; openness to continuous learning
Compensation
$130,000 – $180,000 annually
