For a leader in the healthcare space, we are seeking an Associate Director of Finance to drive the Record-to-Report transformation initiative. This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management to strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation, influencing enterprise performance and scalable financial operations.

Location: Remote (US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available)

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the record-to-report transformation roadmap across various accounting processes
  • Translate business and accounting needs into structured process designs and implementation plans
  • Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Ensure that solutions comply with accounting policies, SOX controls, and audit requirements
  • Lead design, testing, and user acceptance processes for new systems and processes
  • Create executive-ready materials and status updates for leadership review
  • Act as a reliable partner to finance stakeholders with a focus on structured problem-solving

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in accounting, controllership, or finance transformation with a Big 4 firm, preferably at the Senior Manager level
  • Experience in leading transformation initiatives and cross-functional engagements
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, SOX, and financial reporting
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex accounting concepts to senior stakeholders and offer practical solutions
  • Interest in finance technology, automation, and AI-enabled transformations; eagerness to learn and adapt

Pay

$112,700 – $193,200 annually
