Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs-Hematology (NYC and NJ)

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs-Hematology (NYC and NJ) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead field medical activity across hematology, serving as a scientific partner to key external experts and internal stakeholders throughout the NYC and NJ territory. The position will focus on building trusted relationships, sharing clinically relevant insights, and supporting evidence generation efforts that inform the broader treatment landscape. It is well suited to a field-based medical affairs professional who can navigate complex clinical discussions, support study programs, and help advance patient-centered outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $176,100 – $287,300 annually Responsibilities Identify and maintain a list of medical and therapeutic area experts and investigator targets Establish and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders in hematological malignancies Act as a primary clinical and scientific resource for disease state and product information Participate in the development of company-sponsored clinical trials Support investigator-initiated study concept programs Provide insights on research developments and the treatment landscape Attend medical conferences to collect and report relevant scientific intelligence Qualifications Terminal scientific degree required, including MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, or DVM 8+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in a Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison role Knowledge of treatment guidelines and clinical research processes Familiarity with FDA regulations and compliant practices Established relationships with key opinion leaders in hematologic malignancies preferred Benefits Opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization Engagement with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and decision makers in the medical community Focus on making a meaningful difference to patient outcomes Travel opportunities across NYC and NJ with potential for professional networking Involvement in clinical trials and study support opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
