Associate Director, Facilities and Risk

About the role

Student Experience & Recreation is seeking an Associate Director of Facilities and Risk. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Associate Director of Facilities and Risk provides leadership, administration, and operational direction for Oregon State University’s Recreational Sports facilities, grounds, equipment, building services, maintenance operations, space utilization, and departmental risk management functions. As a key member of the Recreational Sports leadership team, this position ensures that facilities, services, systems, and operational practices support safe, accessible, inclusive, and high-quality experiences that advance student success, wellbeing, belonging, and community. This position plays a critical role in creating environments where students, employees, members, and guests feel welcome, supported, and able to thrive. Through stewardship of highly utilized recreational spaces and operational assets, the Associate Director strengthens the student experience and supports the department’s commitment to service excellence, innovation, education, respect, trust, and continuous improvement. The Associate Director
