About the role
We're looking for an Associate Director, Distribution Operations on the Commercial Operations & Channel Management team to help us expand what's possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Director, Distribution & Channel Management, you’ll lead key operational functions that ensure the compliant and efficient movement of commercial pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities
- Maintain 3PL performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs, e.g., order accuracy, shipping timelines, inventory accuracy).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain & Logistics), 3PL, and downstream Trading Partners to ensure product integrity, cold chain compliance, and adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and GXP requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Manage Agreements and Purchase Orders and reconcile invoices for compliance and payment.
- Manage end-to-end order fulfillment across commercial channels to ensure timely and compliant execution.
- Manage order exceptions, shipping issues, and escalations for resolution.
- Track and report order and return metrics to drive operational insights and improvements.
- Ensure compliance through the US commercial product distribution network from 3PL to downstream trading partners.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree along with 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, logistics, and distribution.
- Proven experience managing 3PL operations, relationships, and driving performance.
- Strong knowledge of DSCSA.
- Industry recognized certification(s) preferred.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical state licensing requirements and compliance protocols.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven mindset of proactive continuous improvement.
- Efficient independent worker with ability to focus and drive for results.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay
$155,000.00 - $201,500.00 Annual
Schedule
Full-time, remote role. Occasional travel for team meetings or events will be expected. Travel Requirements: Minimal travel expected - up to 10% annually.
