About the role

The Delivery, Site & Service Associate Director leads multi-disciplinary field, logistics and service teams, coordinates with Project Management, Operations, Engineering and Sales, and serves as a senior customer-facing leader from pre-site readiness through commissioning, warranty, and lifecycle service. This role will help establish a centralized Delivery Site & Service organization for our Engineered Buildings product line.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop site and service teams; set clear objectives, standard work, and performance expectations aligned to business goals across Engineered Buildings platform including establishing centralized capabilities spanning the full platform.
  • Work closely with the customer and project management team to ensure jobsite services are completed on-time, within budget, and of flawless quality including managing site schedules, look-ahead plans, and constraints; proactively communicate risks, mitigation plans, and required decisions.
  • Manage customer relationships, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Establish clear intake, prioritization, and dispatch processes; ensure timely response, accurate diagnosis, and high-quality repairs.
  • Maintain adherence to all safety and training requirements for subcontractors and field service crews onsite. Institute a safety-first approach at the jobsite.
  • Collaborate with various carriers to arrange the flawless transportation of our buildings. Should shipping damage occur, work closely with carriers and internal legal and risk management for timely, cost-effective resolution.
  • Cook up with subcontractors, internal field service crews, and crane operators to ensure the successful installation of our buildings.
  • Arrange timely labor deployment for both warranty and billable service work.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with Supply Chain on DS&S matters (i.e., receipt of field installed equipment).
  • Oversee proper planning for travel and accommodations for field service crews.
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Engineering teams to prepare BOM and associated costs for warranty and service work.
  • Work with Project Management, Operations, and Supply Chain to understand any planned incomplete-shipments and proactively work with customer to organize and schedule an efficient recovery.

Requirements

  • Academic background in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business Administration, or Logistics.
  • 12+ years of experience in logistics, project management, or construction management.
  • Strong leadership including 5+ years of experience in managing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including customer engagement.
  • Knowledge of relevant software and tools, including ERP and Microsoft product suite.
  • Demonstrated skills in budget management, coordination, and customer service.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.

Pay

Pay Transparency: nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range: $146,300.00 - $271,700.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
