About the Role
The Associate Director, Commercial Data Management provides subject matter expertise, hands-on leadership, and development oversight for Pharmacosmos Therapeutics’ commercial data management capabilities. The role requires deep expertise in Veeva Network, Veeva CRM, master data management, SQL, pharma commercial data, data warehouse concepts, and practical experience using AI-enabled tools to speed up work, improve productivity, validate technical approaches, and ensure best practices are consistently followed.
The Associate Director will coordinate, review, and guide work performed by MDM, CRM, data warehouse, and other commercial data vendors. The role partners closely with Commercial Operations, Market Insights, Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Information Technology, and external partners to ensure data solutions are accurate, scalable, governed, and aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Veeva Network, Veeva CRM, master data management, commercial pharma data, SQL, and analytics enablement.
- Support customer master data, HCP/HCO data, affiliations, hierarchies, territory alignment, commercial reference data, and related data quality initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions that support commercial operations, analytics, and decision-making.
- Coordinate and review work performed by external MDM, CRM, data warehouse, and commercial data vendors to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with business needs.
- Support data integration, data warehouse, reporting, and downstream data consistency across commercial data sources and platforms.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve productivity, accelerate analysis, support documentation, summarize findings, and enhance knowledge sharing while adhering to company policies.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, governance standards, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data management, commercial operations, CRM administration, master data management, data governance, data warehousing, vendor oversight, or related functions, including 5+ years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizations.
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Network and Veeva CRM required.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases, data integration, data warehousing, testing, and production support required.
- Strong understanding of HCP, HCO, account, affiliation, territory, commercial reference, and pharma commercial data domains.
- Experience managing vendor deliverables and collaborating with consulting partners across MDM, CRM, data warehouse, reporting, or analytics initiatives preferred.
- Experience with commercial data providers such as IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, Definitive Healthcare, specialty pharmacy, hub, or claims data preferred.
- Exposure to reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, or similar modern cloud analytics solutions preferred.
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to improve productivity, support analysis, and accelerate delivery of business and technical work preferred.

Additional Information
Requires discretion with confidential data. Travel requirements: 10%. This position may be based in Morristown, NJ under the Company’s hybrid work model or may be eligible for remote work within the United States, depending on business needs and candidate qualifications.
