About the role
The Associate Director of Pathology supports drug molecule efficacy and safety studies across various therapeutic focus areas (TFAs). They also provide Clinical Pathology support for GLP toxicology and PK studies of Regeneron molecules.
Responsibilities
- Support nonclinical drug development across multiple therapeutic areas
- Interpret pharmacologic and toxicity related findings to advance promising therapeutics through Regeneron's pipeline
- Determine and evaluate clinical pathology-related endpoints in pharmacology and toxicology studies
- Guide decision making in these studies
- Collaborate with anatomic pathologists, toxicologists, and researchers within Regeneron
- Partner with CRO partners for scientific peer review of nonclinical safety studies
Requirements
- DVM (or equivalent) with ACVP certification in Clinical Pathology required
- (Strong preference for PhD in Pathology, Immunology, or related)
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience interpreting GLP and non GLP clinical pathology data in nonclinical studies and supporting discovery research in a pharma/ biotech or CRO setting
- Additional certification in Anatomic Pathology is a plus
Qualifications
- Experience with integrating clinical and anatomic pathology data
- Clear, concise oral and written communication skills
- Ability to contribute to cross-functional teams
- Contribute to scientific strategy, problem-solving, and broader understanding of pathology-related issues influencing drug development outcomes
Skills
- Experience with animal models of human diseases

Pay
$176,100.00 - $287,300.00 annually
