About the role
This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to develop and manage clinical programs aligning with corporate objectives
- Lead operational planning and execution of clinical trials, managing timelines and budgets
- Mentor Clinical Trial Managers and junior team members in various operational activities
- Oversee daily functions of Clinical Trial Operations and Data Management
- Collaborate on budget planning and vendor management for clinical trials
- Ensure trials are inspection-ready and actively managed by the Study Execution Team
- Contribute to the development of clinical SOPs and participate in protocol reviews
Qualifications
- B.S./B.A. in Life Science or related discipline required
- Advanced degree (preferred) in fields like M.S., MPH, MHS, or MBA
- 9+ years of industry experience in clinical development with 3 years in managerial roles or 4+ years with an advanced degree
- Experience in late-phase clinical trials; relevant experience across all phases
- Strong knowledge of FDA and ICH guidelines, GCP, and clinical trial practices
