We need to output HTML fragment with sections: headings

for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it — never emit heading followed by filler/placeholder text. Prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. We need to parse the job description. Key content: - Summary: Associate Director of Civic Engagement oversees current and new co-curricular civic engagement programs of BSLCE. Lists many programs. - Future initiatives proposed, created, innovated by Associate Director, in coordination with Exec Director and student leaders. - Leads/assists in overseeing current and creating new professional development trainings for BSLCE student leaders. Main staff overseeing essential Student Committee Structure (7 committees, ~30 students) to move forward Center’s 1) Civic Events; 2) DEIJ work; 3) Social Entrepreneurship crossover with new Bentley Social Innovation Incubator. - Also charged with playing a lead role in overseeing BSLCE’s social media presence (Instagram and LinkedIn) and 24/7 Television. - Also will play a lead role as we consider expanding our alternative break trip programs. - Essential Duties (list): - Act as the lead in overseeing our BSLCE student committees, particularly the handful of committees that are specifically focused on civic engagement and social justice work. - Play a key role in creating programming in the BSLCE’s Social Justice Lounge, a space designed to inspire meaningful discussion and learning on a variety of topics. This may include arranging speaker events, hosting campus dialogues, or imagining other program formats. - Take a leadership role in overseeing the BSLCE’s social media—including LinkedIn and Instagram—and manage the BSLCE’s Student Content Coordinator, as well as social media requests and campaigns stemming from student-generated initiatives. - Help to coordinate and oversee the Social Entrepreneurship Student Fellowship, a program of the Bentley Social Innovation Incubator, and organize campus programming on the topic of social entrepreneurship. - Oversee students who undertake unique civic leadership projects. This may include students enrolled in the Millennium Fellowship, as one example, as well as other similar leadership opportunities. - Oversee Bentley’s #BentleyVotes, Bentley’s biannual nonpartisan campus-wide voter registration and engagement campaign that engages faculty members, courses, and students. - Represents the BSLCE and Bentley on a variety of campus committees relevant to the civic engagement and DEIJ work of the BSLCE. At times, represent the BSLCE and Bentley in on- and off-campus forums, workshops, and conferences. - Work with other BSLCE staff to design and implement program evaluation; technology advancement; and report generation. - The BSLCE is an all-hands-on-deck center, and the Associate Director will be expected to support at all turns, whether with Open House and Accepted Students Day; the BSLCE’s Program Manager Training each semester; the CORI check process at the beginning of each semester as we ready hundreds of students for their community partner work; visioning of the Center’s future; creating and sometimes maintaining the Center’s complex calendar; contributing key items and reports at weekly Staff Meetings; etc. - The Associate Director will supervise students in various professional development opportunities, which may include alternative break trips, local/national conferences, and leadership retreats. - Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with community agencies and/or student populations, particularly focused on domestic and/or global issues relevant to the SDGs, broadly speaking. - Experience with Social Media content. - Detail-oriented, highly organized, excellent communication skills, and ability to design training sessions for students involved in service-learning and our civic engagement initiatives. - Advanced knowledge of various academic disciplines and prior work experience in working with faculty from multiple academic disciplines a plus. - Strong public presentation skills. - Experience and skill with running small meetings. - Must be able to effectively manage relationships with several constituencies in both on- and off-campus settings (i.e., students, faculty, community organizations, staff and clientele). - Experience working with student leaders that will fit well with BSLCE’s renowned Students as Colleagues model. - Must be proficient in use of PC-based computer programs including Microsoft Office, Canva, and Internet navigation. - Familiarity with program assessment tools and applications. - Work Environment: - Typical office setting with extensive sitting and computer work - Ability to travel around campus for meetings and other work related events - Some ability to help move light furniture and assist with events. - Must be available for occasional evening or weekend trainings, meetings, retreats, workshops, or conferences. May need to travel to off campus community sites and events. - Must attend occasional student-driven special events and programs. - Pay Transparency: includes description and salary grade range $60,225 - $96,687. - Also mentions total rewards package: competitive compensation, robust benefits, career development and opportunities, generous paid time off, workplace flexibility and a positive, engaging employee experience. - Also mentions references checks, pre-employment screening, diversity statement, EEO, etc. Those are boilerplate to remove. We need to decide sections. Potential sections: About the role (summary), Responsibilities (essential duties), Qualifications (education/experience), Skills (maybe combine with qualifications?), Benefits (total rewards description), Pay (salary range), Schedule (work environment maybe includes schedule? but schedule not explicit; we have work environment details about occasional evenings/weekends, travel, etc. Could be Schedule section if we have info about typical hours? Not explicit. Might skip Schedule if no specific schedule info. The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. Pay is stated (salary grade range). Benefits: they mention total rewards package includes competitive compensation, robust benefits, career development, generous PTO, workplace flexibility, positive experience. That's benefits info. So we can include Benefits section. Schedule: Not explicit about typical hours, but they mention occasional evening/weekend trainings, meetings, retreats, workshops, conferences; must be available for occasional evening or weekend... That's somewhat schedule info but not regular schedule. Might be considered schedule? The instruction says only create Schedule section if posting actually states them. It does mention occasional evening/weekend availability, but not a regular schedule. Might be borderline. Safer to omit Schedule if not explicit regular schedule. We'll omit. Thus sections: About the role (summary), Responsibilities, Qualifications, Skills (maybe we can combine some skill items into Skills), Benefits, Pay. We need to use

for each section heading. We need to use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. For prose, use

. We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep details like specific programs, committees numbers, etc. We must not repeat job title as heading. So no heading for Associate Director of Civic Engagement. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings (none present). We must remove boilerplate: navigation, legal, EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. So we need to strip out the diversity statement, EEO, references checks, etc. Also remove the "Pay Transparency" heading? Actually we need to keep the pay info but we can embed it in Pay section. The "Pay Transparency" heading is not required as a heading; we can just put the content under

      Pay

. The paragraph about total rewards and salary grade range is substantive; we keep. We also need to remove the "Work Environment" heading? We can incorporate that into maybe Responsibilities or a separate section? The instruction says we can create sections only when posting has real, specific content for it. Work environment is substantive; we could make a section "Work Environment". But the allowed headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Work Environment is not in that list. However we could incorporate work environment details into Responsibilities or Benefits? Probably better to incorporate into Responsibilities (as part of duties) or maybe into a separate section not listed? The instruction says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says "e.g." meaning those are examples, not exclusive? It says "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It might be implying we should use those headings for sections. It doesn't explicitly forbid other headings, but to be safe we should stick to those. So we can incorporate work environment details into Responsibilities or Benefits or Qualifications? Probably Responsibilities includes overseeing programs, etc. Work environment details like travel, occasional evenings, moving light furniture could be part of Responsibilities (as part of role). We'll embed them in Responsibilities as a bullet or prose. Similarly, we might have a "Requirements" section separate from Qualifications? The posting has Qualifications (education/experience) and also skill-based qualifications. Could treat Qualifications as education/experience, and Skills as abilities. We'll split. Thus:

      About the role

-> paragraph summarizing the role: overseeing current and new co-curricular civic engagement programs, lists programs, future initiatives, leading professional development trainings, overseeing student committee structure, social media, alternative break trips. We need to preserve all substantive information: list of programs: annual Fair Trade Fair; annual BUIILD fundraising campaign; annual Fall Farmers Market; BSLCE World Days (multiple days each year attached to UN SDGs on issues such as Women’s Rights, Water, Hunger, Poverty, and Sustainability); annual Business for the Greater Good Fair; campuswide #BentleyVotes program; Social Entrepreneur Student Fellowship; many others. Also mention future initiatives proposed, created, innovated by Associate Director, in coordination with Exec Director and student leaders. Also leads/assists in overseeing current and creating new professional development trainings for BSLCE student leaders. This includes being main BSLCE staff member overseeing essential Student Committee Structure (7 committees, approx. 30 students) to move forward Center’s 1) Civic Events; 2) DEIJ work; 3) Social Entrepreneurship crossover with new Bentley Social Innovation Incubator. Also charged with playing a lead role in overseeing BSLCE’s social media presence (Instagram and LinkedIn) and 24/7 Television. Also will play a lead role as we consider expanding alternative break trip programs. We'll put that in a paragraph or maybe a list? The instruction: use
      • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. The summary is not a list; it's prose. So we can use

        . Next

        Responsibilities

-> list of essential duties (the bullet list). We'll convert each bullet to
      • . Also include work environment details (travel, occasional evenings, moving light furniture, etc.) as part of responsibilities maybe as additional bullets. We must preserve all substantive information: each duty bullet. Let's list them: - Act as the lead in overseeing our BSLCE student committees, particularly the handful of committees that are specifically focused on civic engagement and social justice work. - Play a key role in creating programming in the BSLCE’s Social Justice Lounge, a space designed to inspire meaningful discussion and learning on a variety of topics. This may include arranging speaker events, hosting campus dialogues, or imagining other program formats.
