Associate Director, Business Strategy Analyst

Major Responsibilities/Activities

• Work with the Head of Business Strategy to conduct analysis, perform research and inform enterprise and business-line strategic plans aligned with the firm’s growth objectives.
• Cook up coordination with stakeholders across investments, product, distribution and finance to align priorities and achieve strategic objectives.
• Aid in sourcing, modeling, evaluating and executing acquisition and partnership opportunities.
• Perform strategic diligence including market attractiveness, strategic fit, competitive positioning, and growth assessments.
• Cook up initiatives with strategy, investments, distribution and finance to support transaction execution.
• Support executive-level strategy discussions through preparation of materials, insights, and recommendations.
• Cook up initiatives including workplan development, stakeholder alignment, progress tracking, and delivery of measurable outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience, ideally with a finance-oriented investment banking or consulting background.
• Experience supporting M&A or strategic partnership processes preferred.
• Highly collaborative, strategic, and proactive in approach.

• Agrees to comply with the firm’s hybrid work policy (“work from home policy,” as aligned with the Company’s employee handbook), which currently requires reporting to the Company’s New York City office four (4) days per week, with one (1) remote workday permitted.
