Associate Director - Architecture

About the role

Oracle Fusion ERP Technical Project Manager contract role (part‑time, 6‑month) to lead the technical delivery of an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation. Hands‑on coordination role operating at the intersection of the implementation partner, internal IT security, and business teams, driving technical decisions to closure while maintaining strong governance and compliance discipline.

Responsibilities

• Instance environment planning – own the environment strategy across Dev, Test, UAT and Production including provisioning, refresh cycles and alignment of Oracle quarterly updates with the project schedule.
• Technical coordination – coordinate whitelisting, system administration, SSO, boundary‑system dependencies and integration teams to ensure technical readiness across the landscape.
• Cutover planning and execution – develop and run the cutover plan including mock cutovers, go/no‑go criteria, rollback procedures and transition to hypercare.
• SOX compliance governance – embed SOX controls, segregation of duties and change management into the delivery supporting audit readiness and compliance stakeholders.
• Delivery management – maintain the project plan, milestones and dependencies, track risks, issues and decisions, and report status to stakeholders and steering committees.
• Implementation partner oversight – review, challenge and validate partner recommendations, deliverables and estimates rather than accepting them at face value.
• Testing coordination – align SIT, UAT and data‑validation activities across teams, managing defect tracking and resolution.
• Data integration readiness – oversee data migration and interface design/testing with boundary and downstream systems.
• Documentation and knowledge transfer – ensure configuration, security and process documentation is maintained and handed over to production support.

Requirements

• Proven track record delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations as a technical project manager.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion environment/instance management and quarterly update cycles.
• Experience coordinating SSO, security whitelisting and infrastructure activities with technical teams.
• Hands‑on experience managing integrations and boundary‑system dependencies.
• Direct ownership of cutover planning and execution including hypercare.
• Working knowledge of SOX, SoD and IT general controls in a regulated environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to challenge implementation‑partner recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience across Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM Cloud (e.g., ARCS, FCCS and ERP‑to‑EPM data flows).
• Familiarity with Oracle PPM and related financials modules.
• Experience with Oracle’s data integration tooling (Data Integration, OTBI, BI Publisher).
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification would be a plus.
• Prior contracting/consulting experience on large‑scale ERP transformations.
