Associate Director, AI Engineering - Live Operations

What You’ll Be Doing...

• Maintain and optimize deployed models for accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
• Monitor real-world model performance and implement corrective measures.
• Create and manage continuous evaluation loops for model accuracy assessment.
• Establish fallback mechanisms for user experiences during model failures.
• Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines for model updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI initiatives.
• Promote a culture of autonomy, excellence, and rapid business outcome delivery.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role includes work from home and assigned office days, determined by the manager.

What We’re Looking For...

• Experience managing data science teams in production or operations.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks and distributed computing systems.
• Understanding of software engineering and underlying mathematical algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or R, and experience with AWS, Hadoop, or similar platforms.
