Associate Director, AI Engineering - Live Operations

What You’ll Be Doing...

• Maintain and optimize deployed models for accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
• Monitor real-world model performance and implement continuous evaluation loops.
• Establish incident response protocols and automated safety guardrails.
• Create fallback architectures for seamless user experiences.
• Automate continuous deployment pipelines for model updates.
• Lead cross-functional teams and build a culture of technical excellence.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role includes work from home and assigned office days, set by the manager.

What We’re Looking For...

• Experience managing teams of data scientists in a production or operations capacity.
• Direct experience with deep learning frameworks and distributed computing systems.
• Understanding of software engineering code and underlying mathematical algorithms.
• Proficiency in developing real-time safety filters and automated fallback systems.
