Responsibilities
- Support Owned Brand Product Design and Development with direction from design leaders to achieve overall product design strategy and merchant objectives.
- Maintain a diligent and self-directed approach to workload, and provide accurate and timely communication to internal and external partners.
- Support product/trend research, trend concepts, color, and design/development of products.
- Aid the team in preparing product specs, and develop trim, print, embellishment, and hardware packages.
- Translate ideas using CAD/hand sketches. This includes completing design/technical sketches and professional presentation boards/materials for meetings, and vendor partners.
- Work closely with the Technical Design department, communicating fit and construction details.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Design, Fine Art, or similar area of study, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience
- Computer design system skills including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience in CAD illustration or 2D/3D software
- Understanding of textiles, garment construction/fit or raw materials & product production
- Ability to stay aware of Trends and Fashion
- Ability to research and apply market/trend information
- Ability to build strong partnerships in order to successfully work in a team environment

Pay
The pay range is $58,100.00 - $104,600.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.
Schedule
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
