Associate Designer - Headwear

About the role

Reporting to the Design Manager, the Associate Designer - Headwear assists in creating industry-leading headwear designs that are on brief, on trend, on time, and embody '47 brand DNA while maximizing market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a basic understanding of relevant market headwear style trends.
• Support Senior Designers in creating and producing new headwear designs that align with '47 Brand’s creative direction, under supervision from Design leadership.
• Execute segmented design tasks and concept research to support senior designers.
• Apply a basic understanding of headwear manufacturing, graphic design, industrial design, embroidery, or fabrics.
• Utilize relevant design software with basic working knowledge.
• Develop an understanding of company processes related to product creation and production.
• Manage your own workload with guidance from the Design Manager.
• Build relationships with cross-functional partners.
• Present work confidently during internal reviews and critiques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Schedule

In office Monday–Thursday.
