Associate Dean, College of Health and Human Services (Admin III)

Job Summary

The position of the Associate Dean, College of Health & Human Services is a full-time, 12-month, administrator appointment. The appointee will retain his/her/their faculty rank of professor and right of retreat to his/her/their former position. Serving as a key member of the College’s leadership team, the Associate Dean is expected to work with a high degree of autonomy to promote the College’s mission of education, outreach, and service, and to carry out agreed upon duties. The Associate Dean is the principal advisor to the Dean on College matters. The position discharges a sundry of administrator level job duties and responsibilities associated with the overall management of the College as designed by the Dean.

Education And Experience

• An earned Ph.D. or terminal degree from an accredited institution in a field appropriate to one of the Departments/programs in the College of Health and Human Services
• Rank of tenured, full professor
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
• Experience as department chair or comparable leadership experience (institute director, program director, etc.)
