Associate Data Governance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Data Governance & Stewardship: Support the implementation and maintenance of data governance standards, procedures, and best practices. Maintain governance documentation, job aids, and supporting materials. Assist with metadata management activities, including data catalog and repository updates. Partner with stakeholders to promote adherence to established governance standards.
• Data Quality & Reporting: Support the identification, documentation, tracking, and remediation of data quality issues and exceptions. Assist with data quality monitoring and reporting activities. Analyze data quality trends and help identify opportunities for improvement. Support the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and governance reporting.
• Collaboration & Adoption: Partner with Data Stewards and business stakeholders to support governance initiatives. Participate in governance working sessions, training activities, and stakeholder meetings. Help drive awareness and adoption of Technology Data Office standards and practices. Collaborate with project and delivery teams to ensure governance requirements are incorporated into solutions.
• Risk & Delivery: Support risk and issue management activities related to data governance and data quality. Assist with governance-related project deliverables and documentation. Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Escalate issues or risks when appropriate.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, data stewardship, metadata management, or data management within an enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience supporting data governance and stewardship activities within a business or functional domain.

Pay and Schedule

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.

Schedule

We offer a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
