Associate Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Connexus Energy is seeking an Associate Customer Service Specialist to serve our members as their primary point of contact. This role involves answering member phone calls, analyzing data, and resolving inquiries related to residential and business members. The position also promotes various programs and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage external member relationships through multiple communication channels
• Analyze, answer, and resolve member issues to foster quality member relationships
• Collect delinquent residential and commercial accounts promptly and professionally, adhering to all guidelines
• Promote and educate members on Conservation Improvement Programs (CIP) that align with Connexus Energy's strategic goals
• Discuss available incentives and encourage members to participate in applicable programs
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments and the community to address members' needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience in a customer service role
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Preferable: Inbound and outbound call center experience, high-volume call center experience, team collaboration, and results-oriented behavior

Benefits

The anticipated compensation range for this role is between $20.78 and $23.37 per hour. Final compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, and skill level. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% of annual earnings based on company performance. Pay

The anticipated hiring range for this role is between $20.78 and $23.37 per hour.

Schedule

This role is a hybrid position, allowing for both on-site work at the Connexus Energy campus in Ramsey, MN and remote work from a local home office as needed. Based on current policy, hires must reside in or relocate within commuting distance to the Ramsey, MN office.
