Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the Firm’s, and its affiliates strategies, investors, and positions.
- Customize Hubspot for all pipeline and upcoming investments, amendments, and payoffs. Be able to create customizable dashboards and reporting, and continue adapting throughout the lifecycle of an investment.
- Manage investor onboarding, change management, and liaison closely with our fund administrator and custody partners to update information and execute ad hoc investor requests.
- Maintain and expand the investor database utilizing Hubspot to ensure investor data is accurate and current for everyday use of the system and for reporting purposes.
- Auxiliary responsibilities may include assisting in ad hoc projects and processes such as the annual audit and valuation process with third-party partners and assistance with cross-function initiatives.
- Handle confidential and non-routine information with the utmost integrity.
- Manage workflow ensuring that deadlines are met, and work is completed correctly.
- Oversee and manage the configuration, maintenance, and hands-on creation of campaigns in Hubspot, ensuring strategic alignment and flawless execution.
- Ensure seamless integration and functionality of the technology stack, aligned with business objectives.
- Optimize investor relations, marketing, and sales processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams to drive integrated campaigns and improve data quality.
- Develop and maintain marketing emails, segments, workflow automations, landing pages, reporting, dashboards, and analysis to determine and support the efficacy of marketing campaigns.
- Identify areas of opportunity to further nurture leads, turning conversations into raised capital.
- Ability to put on a product marketing hat and assist with product positioning and develop messaging to support investor relations, marketing, and sales with initiatives that resonate with the firm’s ICP.
- Manage data governance and ensure compliance with SEC/FINRA guidelines, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.
- Ability to train sales on CRM best practices and ensure best practices and processes are being kept.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of experience owning CRM functions with preference given to those with the following HubSpot Certifications:
- HubSpot Marketing Hub Software
- HubSpot Sales Hub Software
- Inbound Marketing (or Inbound)
- 3-4+ years of experience in the asset management industry, either in an investor relations role or in a marketing/project management role
- Familiarity with alternatives/private fund marketing preferred
- Resourceful, driven, and creative problem-solver
- Has a start-up mindset and has the desire to roll up their sleeves
- Strong project management skills with ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with impeccable attention to detail
- High level of maturity and sound judgment
- Data analysis capabilities and AI/tooling proficiency for process modernization
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific software

Pay
Monticello offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position in New York City is $90,000 to $110,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
