Associate Crisis Stabilization Clinician

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses clients at the start of treatment (reviews as needed)
  • Develops and maintains treatment plans
  • Conducts family collateral and discharge planning
  • Discusses goals and objectives of proposed treatment plans and establishes a contract with the consumer
  • Interviews consumers to team with mental health professionals in determining the needs of individuals or groups on a walk-in/telephone basis
  • Responds to potential suicide or other emergency events
  • Visits clients, individually or as part of a team, in a variety of living situations to help assess the mental health needs of individuals and families
  • Provides counseling, gathers data, and reports significant changes in the client's condition to designated professional staff

Requirements

  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Recent graduates are welcome
  • Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or another related mental health field
  • Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)
  • First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross

Pay

$70,000 - $75,000 USD Per Year

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
