Associate Creative Director, Copy (Pharma Ad Agency Experience Required)

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in copywriting and concepting, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for storytelling. They will work closely with the Creative Director and other team members to develop and execute compelling creative while serving as the owner of the brand voice and narrative for both internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with your art partner, the Creative Director, and other team members to develop and execute compelling creative
• Take full responsibility of the work and own concept and copy development on various projects across the portfolio ranging in complexity and scope
• Multitask and delegate as appropriate to ensure seamless management of projects of varying types, while still contributing to idea generation that moves the needles for their brands
• Act as the direct liaison between senior creative and cross-functional team members, focusing on consistently delivering work that answers strategic, business, and creative expectations while collaborating seamlessly
• Be responsible for providing career-building guidance, mentorship, and support to the full copy team to promote growth and development
• Participate in new business as a conceptor and writer of pitch-winning ideas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required
• At least 8 years of writing experience in marketing, advertising or a related field
• Experience writing for both HCP and DTC audiences; rare disease experience is a plus
• AOR experience is preferred
