Serve as the copy expert for the assigned brands
Serve as creative team leader to whom other can look to for direction and solutions.
Develop and produce creative concepts through execution for several brands and/or services
Bring a fresh approach to day-to-day projects to inspire direct reports and clients alike
Proactively suggest creative strategies to ensure copy team delivers high quality, accurate work that follows all regulatory guidelines
Work with all functional areas to ensure the work is expressing a compelling single-minded idea
Participate in client presentations, verbalizing the thoughts behind the idea while tying it back to the communication/design objective
Take an active role in client discussions and internal and external meetings to ensure creative and strategic alignment
Help client(s) understand and internalize criteria by which creative product should be assessed
Manage the successful financial landscape for assigned brands, including reviewing, and providing input on scopes, hours, and staff
Identify staffing needs and potential new hire recruits
Help shape the careers of assigned direct reports and stand as a strong mentor inspiring award-winning creative excellence
Stay up to date on latest trends, talent, and competitive work
Support Creative Director in all requests

Requirements

  • 7-8 years of pharmaceutical copy supervisory experience within a fast-paced agency setting
  • Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare copywriting experience is a must

Qualifications

  • A compelling portfolio included with your application
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Solid presentations skills
  • Proven ability to engage in creative conversations internally and with clients
  • Proactive about expanding knowledge of trends so you can share new ideas with your team
