What you’ll do

Required skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 2–3 years of post-bar legal experience in employment law, government contracts, or a combination of both—gained through in-house, or government practice
- Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or federal employment laws (Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA)
- Strong experience interpreting laws, rules, and regulations at local, state, and federal levels
- Strong legal research and writing skills with the ability to distill complex issues into clear, actionable guidance
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as external customers and business partners with whom Nava negotiates
Desired skills
- Experience with GSA Schedule contracts, HHS/CMS procurements, VA contracting, or SBA small business programs
- Familiarity with OFCCP compliance and multi-state employment law
- Prior in-house experience, particularly within a technology or government services company
- Comfort with legal technology tools and modern contract lifecycle management platforms
- Proficiency in GSuite, Slack, Zoom, Excel, Apple computers, and other tools used to support a remote-work environment
