Associate Cook - Nutrition Services

About the role

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Food Production, remains responsible for simple-step food preparation, tray line setup, and serving as well as short order cooking of foods for patients, catering or retail food service customers, acts in a manner that supports patient food safety, customer satisfaction, and departmental goals, and performs other duties as assigned.

Shift Details

Per Diem/On Call, Variable Shift, 0.4 working hours weekly.

Required Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months cooking experience.
• Hospital or nursing home cooking experience.

Pay

Base pay range: $19.94 - $30.50 per hour. Placement on the wage range is determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
