About the Opportunity
The Associate Conversion Data Analyst role supports data migration efforts by extracting and mapping client data from legacy systems to the organization's platform. This position ensures accurate and efficient data transitions, contributing to the successful onboarding and ongoing satisfaction of nonprofit clients.
Responsibilities
- Export client data from legacy databases using front-end reports and full backups
- Analyze legacy data and create data maps to the new database
- Test data mapping and coding outcomes
- Provide feedback on data issues, code limitations, and best practices to project managers and engineers
- Document legacy databases, export procedures, and process updates
- Handle entry-level and templated data conversions
- Develop expertise in data migration and platform capabilities
- Apply nonprofit and platform best practices to conversion projects
- Understand default code functions for troubleshooting data errors
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in database conversions or mapping
- Experience with relational databases
- Moderate SQL skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences
- Strong attention to detail and curiosity
- Experience with data testing and quality assurance
- Willingness to learn and responsibly use AI tools to enhance efficiency
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Salary range: $50,000 - $57,000, with potential discretionary bonus. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable laws.
