Associate Controls Engineer
About the role
Assists in the design, testing, installation, and maintenance of large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates control systems, products, components, and applications.
- Evaluates new manufacturing and control technologies, adapting into specifications as appropriate.
- Confirms control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or executing test procedures.
- Reviews layout and electrical drawings; collaborates with related engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers.
- Maintains process and build data collection.
- Provides information to manufacturing, process, and other engineering disciplines by answering questions and requests.
- Performs periodic audits; troubleshoots breakdowns; requests supplies; defines and reviews preventive maintenance plans; calls for repairs; and implements process improvements.
- Maintains project documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.
Requirements
HS Diploma. Previous controls or electrical experience required. Availability to work across 3 shifts as needed.
